Homelessness cannot be solved simply by moving people from one location to another. We need to address the barriers that prevent people from achieving long-term stability.
Mental & Behavioral Health Access
I will advocate for more accessible and persistent behavioral-health outreach by strengthening collaboration among Fremont, Alameda County, healthcare providers, first responders, and community organizations.
Substance-Use Treatment
People struggling with addiction need accessible treatment, recovery resources, and sustained support that helps them move toward stability.
Prevention And Bridge-to-Employment
I want to explore programs that identify existing skills, provide training and skill enhancement, and connect people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with employment opportunities and a path toward self-sufficiency
Housing & Supportive Services
Housing solutions should be coordinated with behavioral health, employment, substance-use treatment, and other appropriate services so that we focus not just on placing people in housing, but helping them remain stable.
