From my journey,
rooted in community.
Every step of my life has shaped my commitment to serve Fremont with empathy, integrity, and common sense.

ROOTED IN FAMILY
My family has always been at the heart of my journey. As a mother of a son and a daughter, I have learned that empathy, responsibility, and care begin at home. These values continue to shape how I see my community and the people around me.
VALUE OF EDUCATION
My education was an important part of shaping who I am today. It taught me the value of hard work, discipline, curiosity, and perseverance. The lessons and experiences from those years continue to influence how I approach challenges and opportunities.

COMPASSION IN ACTION
Giving back has always meant showing up for those who need a helping hand-including our four-legged friends. I believe a compassionate community is one that cares for its people, protects animals, and makes sure no one is overlooked.
SHOWING UP WHEN IT MATTERED
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when masks were in short supply around the world, I helped distribute thousands of homemade masks to hospitals across the USA. It was my way of supporting healthcare workers and showing up for communities when help was needed most.

STANDING UP FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN
Some experiences stay with you because they remind you how important it is to protect dignity, safety, and opportunity. My experiences working with vulnerable communities and children strengthened my belief that every child deserves care, protection, and a chance to build a better future.
ALWAYS ON A MISSION
Manisha was part of “Stress Free Violence Free Campaign” in 2013 which gathered ten thousand people to join the mission and pledge for a Stress Free Violence Free Community in the Bay Area.

SERVING MY COMMUNITY
Manisha was part of Wellness Advisory Committee at Mission San Jose High School , Fremont District 4 in 2017
CALLING FREMONT HOME
Manisha celebrates festivals from every culture, honoring our shared traditions and promoting inclusivity, unity, and strength in diversity.

THE NEXT CHAPTER
Every chapter of my journey has prepared me for this moment. Now, I am bringing the same commitment, common sense, compassion, and collaborative spirit into the next chapter of service to Fremont.
